RATES AND CONDITIONS

A rate that allows you to pay directly upon arriving at the hotel. The cancellation is free of charge until 18:00 of the day before the arrival date. In case of cancellation beyond the terms mentioned or in case of no show, the first night rate will be charged as penalty. In the case of reservation made through our website or Call Center, 100% of the penalty will be transformed in a “VIA Flex Bonus” voucher and can be reused for future bookings in Via Hotels.

A prepaid rate that cannot be refunded, modified nor cancelled. The payment of the whole amount is due at the time of the reservation. The insurance guarantee covers the 80% of the prepaid reservation if the insured cannot travel due to one of the following reasons, which cannot be foreseen when signing the contract:
– death, illness or accident of the Insured;
– death, illness or accident of the Insured’s travel companion provided that s/he is also insured, the insured’s family members, the joint partner of the Insured’s company or the direct superior of the Insured’s;
– any unforeseen event, not known when signing up for the trip and independent of the Insured’s will and that makes participating in the trip impossible and/or objectively not recommended.
The guarantee enters into force from the date of the reservation and expires when the insured starts enjoying the first tourist service provided by the contractor. In case of cancellation, it will be necessary to follow the procedure below to request the due refund:
1. the customer contacts Via Hotels to request that the reservation be cancelled, sending an e-mail at reservation@gruppoVia.it. Via Hotels issues an invoice of the penalty payable to the customer.
2. Within 5 days from the event that caused the cancellation, and in any case no later than 24 hours after the departure date, the customer must contact directly UnipolSai Assicurazioni to file a claim. The claim can be made by sending an email at sinistriturismo@unipolsai.it, by calling the toll-free number 800406858 active from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 19:30 and on Saturday from 8:00 to 14:00, or by fax to 051.7096551 (as the sending date, the date resulting from the fax report with positive outcome will be valid).
3. The customer sends the invoice of the Via Hotels penalty and the remaining necessary documentation for requesting a refund to the Unipol claim office. In the event of a phone-claim, the documentation should still be sent to the Company within 5 days. At the time of the claim, it will be necessary to provide UnipolSai Assicurazioni with:
– a written statement containing name, surname, Tax Code, full home address, in order to allow the Company to carry out a potential medical-legal visit and the telephone number where the insured customer is actually traceable;
– a copy of the penalty invoice issued by Via Hotels;
– a written statement, reporting the circumstances that force the insured customer to cancel the reservation; – a copy of the medical certificate reporting the disease or, in cases of guarantee that does not derive from an illness or accident, another document proving the impossibility of participating in the trip (even in the case of a phone-claim).

The vouchers issued by Via Hotels are valid for staying at hotels and resorts managed in compliance with the methods of use and conditions listed below:
1. The stay is to be used upon reservation and depending on the hotel availability. To request for availability and reservations, simply contact Via Hotels’s Booking Centre by sending an e-mail at contracting@vh-hotels.com.The voucher number will be requested as a guarantee of the reservation.
2. The voucher is not cumulative, transferable nor monetizable in any other way.
3. It is not possible to use the voucher to compensate for cancellation penalties. 4. The voucher is valid for stays made before the expiry date in all Via hotels.

PET POLICY

Your pet friend is welcome to Via Hotels. However, we would like to list some common sense rules that need to be followed in order to facilitate coexistence with the other Guests of the hotel:
a) Please note that it is possible to host "4-legged friends" (dogs and cats) up to 25 kg for dogs and up to 3 kg for cats. Your pet friend's stay fee will be € 20,00 for all Via Hotels, which includes cleaning and Welcome Kit.
b) The owners of the pets are reminded to show the healthcare booklet at check-in with the recording of vaccinations in order to properly accommodate the 4-legged Friend. In the absence of the healthcare booklet, the owner must issue a declaration under his/her responsibility stating that the animal is regularly vaccinated, healthy, free of parasites and insured against damage that the pet could cause to property or people.
c) The owner is responsible for the repair and/or replacement of all objects possibly stained or damaged by his/her trusted Friend, as well as any damage caused to other guests.
d) Owners are allowed to transit through the common areas with their pet, along the route to their room and the hotel lobby. However, the 4-legged guest will not be allowed to stay in the following areas of the hotel: hall, bar, restaurant, meeting rooms, wellness center, swimming pool, toilets, whether they are closed premises or outdoor areas, including swimming pools and beaches (the only exceptions being guide dogs or pet therapy animals).
e) When transiting inside the hotel, the 4-legged Guests must always be kept on a leash, wear a muzzle or be kept inside a carrier (for cats).
f) Should the 4-legged Friend soil the premises, the owner has the responsibility to clean up immediately and notify the hotel staff. We ask you the courtesy to remove the excrements in all common areas (i.e. garden, hotel appurtenances).
g) We ask not to leave the 4-legged guest in the room alone, in order to prevent unpleasant situations for them and other hotel guests. Please remember to hang the special sign outside the bedroom door in order to communicate to the other Guests and the hotel staff the presence of 4-legged friends.
h) The 4-legged guest must not disturb other guests, both when in the room and when going through the common areas. i) It is not allowed to let your friend climb on beds, armchairs, chairs and tables in the room or in common areas.
j) For reasons of safety and comfort of your friend, the maid will not clean the room if the 4-legged guest is left there Viattended. Therefore, the cleaning of the room will take place only when the Trusted Friend is with you. We thank you and your pet friends for your cooperation.

CITY TAX

The City tax, also known as tourist tax, is a local tax applied to people staying in accommodation facilities in areas classified as tourist resorts or cities of art. Below we list the conditions applied in the municipalities that host the Via Hotels hotels and require the payment of a city tax.
